Sir Neville founded MAS Technology Ltd in 1975, a telecommunications microwave company which he successfully listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange. MAS and its successors have now earned over $1 billion in net foreign exchange for New Zealand. MAS Technology remains the only New Zealand private company to have listed on the NASDAQ main board.
Neville’s awards and accolades include the Governor General’s Supreme Award for Exporting and induction into both the New Zealand Hi Tech Hall of Fame and the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame. Sir Neville was President of the Royal Society of New Zealand from 2006–2010, Wellingtonian of the Year in 2012 and awarded a Knighthood in the 2015 New Year Honours.
In 1998 Sir Neville founded Endeavour Capital where he has led two venture funds with successful exits of high growth companies involving commercialisation and restructuring. Neville has led a 300 acre dairy farm conversion and, with three partners, a commercial and residential greenfields development at Lake Taupo.
Neville has extensive experience on Government Committees with six years as director of AgResearch and three years on the boards of the Foundation for Research Science and Technology and the Prime Minister’s Growth and Innovation Advisory Board.
Sir Neville is a Retired Officer of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve and honorary Captain of the Royal New Zealand Navy.
Neville also established the philanthropic Jordan Foundation in 1995 to support the disadvantaged and the performing Arts. Neville has also been a Trustee on several other philanthropic trusts such as the Arctic Heritage Trust, the Rotary Eureka Foundation and the Hi-Tech Trust.
In 2014 he was elected as Chancellor of Victoria University of Wellington. As Chancellor, Sir Neville has governance oversight of $800m of fixed assets, new developments valued at $140 million around Wellington and ~$150 million of debt restructuring.
Sir Neville’s other governance positions include: the Australian Government's Australian National ICT Australia (NICTA) review (Chair); the New Zealand Government’s Taskforce for Crown Research Institutes (Chair); a State Owned Enterprise Board (Chair); the Education to Employment Panel (Chair); MacDiarmid Institute (Past director); Defence Manufacturers Association (Founding Chair); and Rutherford Foundation (Founder and inaugural Chair).
With over 30 years industry experience his areas of expertise include contract negotiation as Client representative for the purchase of both commercial and investment properties including major commercial lease negotiations. Additionally, the provision of strategic advice regarding alternative mechanisms for the release of capital from Crown real estate assets and also manage the disposal of Crown surplus real estate assets.

Aldrin Thayalakal, has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Banking and Infrastructure Advisory. His skill sets includes emerging markets and is spread across India, UK and GCC. He was working as a senior corporate finance team member with Gulf Bank in Kuwait and looking at transactions in M&A, debt syndication and bonds in the range of USD 10 to 300 mln. He also developed strong relationships in the GCC region after spending 11 years there.
